From AC input to 24VDC
The MEAN WELL LRS-350-24 converts AC input to a 24VDC output for circuits and devices designed to operate at 24V within the equipment. When several devices share the supply, the load depends on the combined consumption of those running at the same time, together with the operating conditions inside the panel.
Cooling and load inside the panel
This is a single-output switching supply from the LRS-350 series, with an internal cooling fan. The fan needs an airflow path around the supply, and operating temperature affects the permitted load according to the manufacturer's derating curve. Panel ventilation therefore affects load selection. The series also has a selector for the input voltage.
Replacing a 24V supply
